When to tag

Collections are the tree. Tags are keywords you apply to bookmarks, tasks, notes, documents, and collections themselves. A task can live in “Kitchen remodel” and also be tagged “waiting-on”.

Open Tags

Create, apply, merge

  1. Create a tag from the Tags page, or type a new name when tagging an item.
  2. Apply tags from an item’s editor, context menu, or bulk selection toolbar.
  3. On Tags, see usage counts and your most-used labels.
  4. Merge duplicate tags when two names mean the same thing.
Note.Tags do not count toward Free item caps. Recipes also have their own local tag list on the recipe itself — that is separate from workspace tags.
