What a collection holds

A collection can mix bookmarks, tasks, notes, documents, recipes, widgets, and nested collections. One tree instead of a bookmarks folder, a notes notebook, and a task list that never meet.

Open Collections

Create and nest

  1. Open Collections and create a collection.
  2. Give it a name, icon, and optional description.
  3. Open it. Add items from the add menu, or drag existing items in.
  4. To nest, add a collection as an item, or create a child from inside the parent. Depth stops at five levels.
Tip.Name collections after outcomes or places (“Kitchen remodel”, “Q3 hiring”), not after item types (“Bookmarks 2”).

Display and sort

Each collection remembers how you like to look at it.

ControlOptions
DisplayGrid, list, or detailed
SortManual (drag), alphabetical, recently updated, or frequency

Manual sort uses drag-and-drop. Frequency is useful for bookmark collections you actually visit.

The collections list

The index is a tree of every collection you can access. Search by name. Filter by access: Private or Shared (shared includes collections that inherit a shared or public ancestor).

Presets

Personal, Saved from Extension, and Browser Sessions are created for you. They stay private and cannot be shared. Put shared work in a collection you create.
