1. Who we are

This policy describes how YouDash (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the YouDash web app and related services (the “Service”).

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email, username, profile fields you provide, authentication metadata.
• Workspace content — tasks, notes, bookmarks, collections, documents, media metadata, calendar items, and other content you create or import.
• Usage / analytics — as implemented to operate and improve the Service (e.g. product analytics via our hosting/analytics providers).
• Payment data — when you subscribe or buy credits, payments are processed by Stripe. We store plan status, Stripe customer/subscription IDs, and credit balances on our servers. We do not store full card numbers; card data is handled by Stripe.
• Extension capture — when you use a browser extension, content you choose to save may be sent to your YouDash workspace.

3. How we use data

• Provide, maintain, and secure the Service
• Authenticate users and enforce account rules
• Process payments and subscriptions when offered
• Improve product quality and reliability
• Power AI features when you invoke the Assistant — we send only what is needed for the request to configured model providers

4. Sharing

We use service providers as needed to run the Service, including hosting, authentication, analytics, AI model providers when you use cloud AI, and Stripe for payment processing and subscription management. Stripe may process personal data (such as email and payment method details) under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data. Shared or public collections are visible only according to visibility choices you make.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace data while your account is active. Deletion, trash, and export capabilities follow product behavior as implemented. Contact us for account deletion requests if self-serve controls are unavailable.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices appropriate to a modern web app (encrypted transport, access controls via our auth provider). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

7. Children

YouDash is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). Do not use the Service if you are under that age.

8. International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate. By using the Service you understand that data may be transferred across borders as needed to provide YouDash.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data. Use in-app account tools where available, or contact us for requests.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
