Recipes

A personal recipe library — import from a URL or write one by hand, then scale servings.

Your library

Recipes keep ingredients, steps, times, and servings structured — not a blob of text. Browse in list or detailed view. Favorite the ones you cook. Search by title, description, or recipe tags.

Open Recipes

Import from a URL

  1. Choose import from URL.
  2. Paste a recipe page. YouDash reads schema.org Recipe data from the page — no AI required.
  3. Review the parsed title, ingredients, and steps in the form.
  4. Save. Optionally put it in a collection as you create it.
Note.If a site has no structured recipe data, import will fail or come back thin. Enter that one by hand.

Cook and scale

Open a recipe to cook from it. Scale servings to resize ingredient amounts. Recipe-local tags (on the recipe itself) are separate from workspace tags.

Recipes are first-class collection items, so a “Sunday dinners” collection can mix recipes, grocery notes, and bookmarks.
