Selection and bulk actions
Select many items, then move, tag, or trash them in one pass.
Select
On collection pages and type lists, click an item to select it. Shift-click to take the range between the last selected item and this one. Selected items show a highlight and a checkbox.
Bulk toolbar
Once anything is selected, a toolbar appears. Typical actions: add tags, move into a collection, send to Trash. Clear the selection when you are done so you do not trash the next click by accident.
Tip.Right-click an item (or use its menu) for single-item actions: the same operations without entering multi-select.
Where it works
Selection is shared across the item lists you already use — collections, bookmarks, tasks, notes, documents, tags. The command palette also exposes item actions on search results.
